Electronic Service Analyst (ESA), the premiere vehicle diagnostics tool from PACCAR Inc.

The Electronic Service Analyst (ESA) is a PC-based diagnostic tool similar to CAT ET or Cummins INSITE. ESA communicates over a Data Link Adapter to the NAMUX components. A technician can use ESA to detect fault codes in the components, verify and troubleshoot new electronic instrumentation functionality, flash the control unit, program parameters and diagnose the root cause of the problems using service information on DealerNet. This software enables communication with diagnostic interface Nexiq for Kenworth and Peterbilt.

This update adds support for P30-1032-100 and PACCAR Display 1602 software, and modifies the mandatory update date of P30-1030-103 and P30-1031-107 the data version will show 252.

• Added support to roll back P30-1014-104 to P30-1014-100

–         IMPORTANT!

• Peterbilt trucks which have been flashed to P30-1014-104 need to be reverted back to P30-1014-100.

– Defects addressed:
• Made non-suppressible warning come back in driving mode after suppressed in parked mode
• Made CC set speed visible when cruise is active
• Made logic to display either protection timer or derate timer but not both
• Fix odometer not working
• Add the missing NOT logic which prevented CECU to log DTC
• Fixed PB retarder telltale in area 4 of highline
• Set the brake saver parameter default to off
• Derate Icon was not shown under Expected Conditions
• DEF Quality Popup was Suppressible
• Water In Fuel Warning did not Activate
